Magnetic Frames

Hello!

Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend. We sure did. Beautiful weather, good company, good food, some exciting egg hunting and way too much candy. I’m looking forward to sharing pictures later this week.

And we’re getting back into the groove of things. I feel like I’ve been ‘gone’ for a long time even though I haven’t been far.

So, in getting back into things, I’m starting out really simple.

With some recent fabric purchases (it’s a sickness, I tell you!), I was left with these pieces of cardboard. Not one to throw such creative supplies away, I’d been thinking on how to use them.

With our freshly minted Easter pictures just waiting to be printed, the cardboard lent itself to make customizable, aka DIY, magnetic frames to showcase them on the fridge. In a recent spring cleaning episode, I found a magnetic strip roll which also factored into this project.

The steps are hardly necessary. Mark the window frame.

Cut it out and add some color.

Attach magnets.

Dunzo.

Of course, the options are endless.

Love Bug made one for herself and one as a thank you.

I had fun too. I haven’t done enough doodling lately. It felt good.

Take care.
