We have been loving lemonade this summer. It hits the spot after a day at the beach, an afternoon playing in our tricycle car wash or an evening trying to run out the crazies. My mom told me about a simple syrup she was making to use in lemonade and she was using her homegrown rhubarb. I thought it sounded amazing. But I didn’t stop with just one syrup, I made two – a rhubarb syrup and a blueberry simple syrup. I’m sharing the details over on Wayfair today. Now lemonade is not only delicious, it’s beautiful too.
Go on over and check out the recipe for Rhubarb and Blueberry Lemonade. And bonus – the leftover berries or rhubarb compote can be used on ice cream. Win, win!
P.S. Are you a Game of Thrones fan? I put together a Houzz look book with that TV series in mind. MJ wants it all for our house. :)
P.S.S. Did you love the Clyde iPad satchel bag I received during my dinner with Atly for Aly NYC? I adore the gorgeously red thing! Anyway, Clyde has generously offered a discount code for blog readers during the month of July. Enter the code: blogfriends and receive a 20% discount! Wahoo! Hurry up!
I love the ombre look!! And the simple syrups are really fairly easy to make! Thx for sharing your mom’s recipe! Gonna go make some now!
yay! I’ve been dreaming about the satchel bag … now to choose – blue or red?
I love both colors, they are so rich! But red really speaks to me. :)

Thanks Tarlan! I am getting the pages ready this week. I promise!!
