I’m so excited to share some big news—I’ve just written a new children’s book, and I think you and your little ones are going to love it! It’s called And the Baby Said Boo, A Book of Colors, and it’s a fun, lighthearted story that’s perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.
This story is based on a sweet memory my mom has shared over the years about my older brother, when he was a darling little thing. With him on her lap, a color book in her hands, she pointed to a red ball, red truck, and red balloon and then asked my brother what color he saw. His answer was always an emphatic “boo”. It makes us all giggle even today.
This book has been written and “nearly finished” for about five years. I never felt like it was good enough or ready. It’s frightening to put yourself out there! But then it just stays in a file on my computer and oh there are so many files! So I’m doing it! I used Amazon’s direct publishing to make it available which I’ve linked to here. The book has colorful illustrations and a playful, easy-to-follow story and (in my opinion), it’s a great choice for bedtime or anytime.
