Despite the infrequent posts here, I am still making! It’s my thing. :) When I traveled to Portland this fall, in a cute little shop, I saw a set of letter disk magnets. They were plastic-like but the coloring reminded me of light-colored wood and wood-burned letters. Since I’ve had fun with my wood-burning tool before – spoons, cutting boards, snowflake ornaments, heart key fobs, heart flair pins – I made a set of alphabet magnets. I love how they turned out, mostly because I can spell out funny messages to make myself laugh.
They are really simple to make and I can’t think of one person who wouldn’t love to be gifted a set. Find the full tutorial on Design Mom.
