Since getting this opportunity, I have been working on art pieces for the show.
It’s slow going which is frustrating. My whole creative process has had to adjust to the way my time and day plays out. It’s not a change I expected at all. And sometimes I don’t like it. I’ve been known to growl, “Can I just get 30 minutes to myself?!”
But like Dolly Parton says, “…if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”
