Brrrrrr!! It’s been a cold week here. Not really the kind of weather we are wanting as February nears its end but I can’t dismiss it all. The sun has been bright and warm through our windows and for me, that makes up for negative temperature wind chills. The children and I have enjoyed a few ‘picnic’ meals in the sunlight together. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
Also this week, we attended the kindergarten open houses in our area. MJ and I can hardly believe we have a child that old already. It’s amazing how quickly time has gone. As parents from small towns, we are anxious about this big school step. There are so many things to consider! We hem and haw and Google. There is a little time yet but not much. :)

Picnics in the sun. I love that! Before I had a kid, I would pull off a couple of couch cushions and take afternoon naps in the sun. Made me feel like I was on a beach!
My sister and I used to do that too!
Love your beautiful space. Thanks for the link love!
Thank you for your delectable recipe.
