Down Time

Processed with VSCOcam

Hello there!

It’s been a little quiet around here. I’ve been enjoying some down time. Okay, not really down time but less-work time. Between beach days, park trips, mornings with little friends and their moms, our driveway being completely removed and redone, we’ve had no problem filling our time. I’ve also been struggling with feeling uninspired and burnt out. It’s been a different kind of year for me dealing with this ‘uninspired-ness’ but it’s forcing me to look outside myself and find what inspires me going forward.

I was all ready to share a rainbow cake the children and I made together last week, shot on my new camera, but it turns out, my new camera is holding them hostage. The new body creates a different kind of file my computer can’t read so I have to download new software to be able to open said files in order to process them. It hurts my brain just a little to figure it all out. Or maybe it’s reading the instruction manual. Either way, I have a little technical work to do in order to get my workflow back in order.

Hope to get the photo thing worked out today and share the cake tomorrow. It was really fun and the outcome is smile inducing.

Have a wonderful Monday.
