{Foto Friday} Forts & Phones

**Instead of posting this earlier, I got to chat with technical support. Fun!!**

**Thankfully they were very helpful.**

We’ve had some melt-your-brain hot, humid weather here this week. In order to avoid emotional melt-downs, we spent most of the week inside which is just depressing in the summer. To keep things fun and interesting, MJ and I built Love Bug a fort.

Bug had fun but only if I was inside with her. It was a little uncomfortable for me. I couldn’t really sit up straight in it and so I layed down which made me tired. Love Bug kept informing me that I needed to keep my eyes open because it wasn’t quiet time yet.

Sweet J didn’t know what to make of the floral print sky inside the fort.

After pondering it a bit, he gave up trying and conked out.

I think the heat is finishing up here (well, I hope) and we will be back to our regularly scheduled outdoor activities.

Also, I’m up for a new phone which is great because mine is misbehaving. Actually, I was going to get one last week but MJ called from work last Friday and stated that his had conveniently completely stopped working and, with a work function in the evening, he had to go get a replacement ASAP.

Yeah for him, boo for me. I only have to wait a few more weeks for my replacement but I’m getting tired of watching MJ fiddle around with his new phone.

So, with new phones in the line-up, the oldies (well, my soon-to-be-old one, MJ’s is really broken) will be passed down to Love Bug; her little purses have been tricked out with a variety of retired phones.

I did a little walking down old phone memory lane this week and clicked through the phones to see what Bug has added to them. Lots of new contacts with strange names, new videos that could make a motion-sickness person (me) feel sick and a whole bunch of pictures.

My favorites in the batch are a series I like to call Naptime. They are from over a year and a half ago (I can tell by the room arrangement and the pudgy feet that Bug used to have) and were taken by Bug when she was supposed to be napping.

Close-up of Pink Baby. Very contemporary framing.

Bug is so hip, she has two phones: the one taking the picture and the one in the picture.

Baby toes.

Now three pictures featuring a Fisher Price person. Can you grasp the emotions being portrayed? Oh, the depth! : )

 Have a great weekend!

Take care.
