Someday, years from now, I am certain MJ and I will reminisce about this month, this March of 2015, and wonder how we did so much in so little time. I mean did so much without a complete mental breakdown. It all started on the first of the month when our foursome became of fivesome when Pipsqueak arrived. Then Sweet J had surgery. Definitely beneficial health-wise but a stressful and emotional experience for MJ and me, not to mention uncomfortable for J. And lastly, we finalized the sale of our house of almost nine years, packed it all up and moved to a rental. That is a lot for 21 days. It was tough and challenging and I cried more than usual but we did it.
Life has settled down, as much as real life can. We are taking it one day at a time, finding our new normal. It’s loud and a bit unorganized and doesn’t quite feel right yet but it will, in time. We have each other (and our ridiculous amount of possessions, stacked up in the garage) and that’s the most important.
Speaking of possessions, my office is almost ready for business. The children have had so many ideas of projects to do and I’m eager to get to those. While I finish cleaning up, check out these links I enjoyed this month.
- gorgeous mini blueberry pies in mason jars. almost too beautiful to eat! almost.
- the cutest, FREE, printable bunny paper.
- every Easter, I think of this baby’s breath crown and fall in love with it all over again.
- this paper flower crown is a must to bring on a springtime.
- an ombre cake that is both beautiful and beautifully simple. and it’s on my list to try.
- I really loved this guest post for love stones. hearts are my thing.
