Painted Heels

This little diddy was all for fun.

No higher purpose.

No dilemma solved.

No problem addressed.

Just thought these babes

would look mighty fine this color.

And they do.

Purple heels are not for everyone. And purple heels are not for everywhere.

But, there are some who like them and some places where they are welcome.

Curious?

It’s really easy.

Find some heels you think need a personality change.

Good shoes but shoes that need a little oomph.

Tape them up, covering the parts you don’t want painted.

You don’t have to do it as extensively as me, I was just being cautious.

Then, with a paint brush, apply this paint – Lumiere by Jacquard. It’s an acrylic paint that can be used on things from wood and canvas, to silk and leather.

Paint, paint, paint. I really liked the visible brush strokes.

Follow the package directions on dry time. And it’s a heat set paint. Again, follow the directions. I used a heat gun and went over every part of both shoes.

Looking good.

Even on the back side.

These sweeties are ready for their close-ups.

Now for a pedicure….

Take care.
