It’s that time – the party is over, the food has been eaten, the decorations have been put away, the gifts have been opened. Now is the time for thank you notes. Ever since I was little, writing a thank you note after receiving a gift or kind gesture has been my process. It all started with my mom’s belief in the importance of showing thanks and it’s been ingrained. I don’t feel as though things are complete until I write a note. With Pipsqueak’s arrival, I thought I might have use for a thank you card or two (not to mention the kindness and generosity we are receiving due to our imminent move). And you know me, I wanted to create my own. The good thing is my work is your gain because this version is printable!

My girls, Jen, Melissa, MJ and Ali, and the kind folks at Munchkin sure treated my family and me kindly. A gorgeous welcome ribbon chandelier DIY, a gourmet PB&J bar and table decor using items my family can use after the party. Then we received some sweet gifts like the darling Onester above. Pipsqueak looks good in blue and the weather has been just warm enough for him to wear it this week. He is a bit of a sweat ball so the double-layer fabric on the front will keep him warm while the one-layer on the back will keep him from getting too warm. And the LATCH pacifier coordinates perfectly.

I am so excited to use the Fresh Feeding Starter Set. We did all homemade foods for Love Bug and Sweet J and plan to with Pipsqueak. I’m glad we get to start anew for Pip. Just because he’s the third one doesn’t mean everything has to be a hand-me-down. The diaper caddy sure is helpful to while we pack up the house. At least we’ll be able to keep track of the diaper-changing essentials, as long as no one puts in a box without a label……

And finally, the sweet owl nightlight. When Sweet J first saw it, his guess was that it was a baby owl mask. After laughing about that for a good long time, we explained it was a nightlight and ever since, it’s been used in our bedtime routine. Once the older two drop off to sleep, I fish it out of the covers and then use it myself for Pipsqueak and my nighttime activities.

Of course, my favorite gift is my sweet Pipsqueak and he makes thank you note writing a snuggle-fest. It’s the best.
