When a craving hits, I think we can all agree that the odds of finding that one recipe you need, the one that will fulfill all the nuances of the food you just have to have are slim to none. I know I’ve tried some doozies. The tasteless, the over salty and, most recently, a single serving sweet which did not agree with me for long. But we keep searching because the cravings are relentless.
These snickerdoodle cookies, the best ever, are the exception. One evening, a few weeks ago, I had to have snickerdoodles. The cinnamon and sugar outside, the soft cookie inside, the crispy edges, the chewy, buttery center. I searched and found the perfect one.
Thankfully, the cookies come together really quickly so there is almost instant gratification. They can be made with a 1 inch scoop or a 2 inch scoop. We like the 2 inch scoop size. :) In our house, we like warm cookies the best and whether that happens immediately following the mixing of the dough (after the 10 minute chill, of course) or the day after or the day after that (just keep it in the fridge), this mix is perfect anytime the craving strikes.

I’ve been making a Betty Crocker recipe since the beginning of time and it’s definitely my all-time fave. It’s alllll about the cream of tartar! I love snickerdoodles with all my heart. :)
They are so good! Snickerdoodle fans together, Mindy!
Okay. I love snickerdoodles. Right now, Eric and I are on a little dessert fast, but once it’s over, you’d better believe I’ll be hitting these hard.
A dessert fast?! I tried that but didn’t last too long. Good for you. The snickerdoodles will be waiting.
