What a glorious Monday! Sunshine, cool breeze and blue skies. It’s hard to order something better than this. Especially for November. However, the weatherman has said there may be snow by the end of the week. So, we are soaking it up!
I thought I would share a couple recipes I’ve tried lately and enjoyed because maybe you would enjoy them too.
First up, a delicious bread recipe from Delia Creates. It’s fast and easy and the chance that you could eat a whole loaf by yourself is entirely possible.
Delia has step by step directions for this scrumptious bread along with pictures for you visual learners. She also posted bread making tips a couple days later.
I love homemade bread, I hardly eat any other kind of bread now. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at making bread, this is the one to start with. And in the end, you get to eat all your hardwork. A win-win!
The next two recipes are by the dynamic Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. These recipes are favorites of hers so I had to try them.
Oh, it’s delicious! Just a light and tasty sauce and with the fresh ribbons of basil, it is amazing. I’m so glad I had guests the evening I made this because I’m fairly sure I would have devoured the darn pot myself!
Dare you to try it. But maybe you should have guests over, too. Unless you have better self-control than I do.
Another favorite recipe, a cake made with three milks. The cake is light and airy doused in three rich milks and then topped with real whip cream.
And then, if you like, crown it with a maraschino cherry.
Again, another good find.
Happy Monday!!
