Very Valentiny

Hope your Valentine’s Day was “love”ly and sweet.

Ours definitely was.

MJ left loving notes on the mirror for Love Bug and me. Bug decorated a Valentine bag during class and shared (and received) sweet treats with her classmates. She also devoured a delicious chocolate cupcake with decadent red frosting too. (This sugar overload may or may not have contributed to her longish nap today. I am not complaining.)

Then MJ, Bug and I enjoyed a Valentine’s themed dinner together.

Set the table with Valentine ware. Check out Love Bug’s new cup, with matching plate! (Thanks Nana!)

I made heart calzones (recipe to follow).

For heart health and color on the plate, we had broccoli. : )

And to finish off, we devoured chocolate-covered strawberries.

How did you celebrate?

Take care.
