The furry friends in our house are the stuffed variety. We do ‘have ‘a real dog but she lives out-of-state.
Harriet is the big and sweet horse that has slept next to Love Bug almost every night since she was gifted to her. But today it’s about the her dogs.
Week 16: Furry Friends – Photo Challenge
Frank, Scottie, Zoey and Kobe. And yes, we do refer to them by name.
Not only are these my kind of pets – clean, quiet, no bodily function training required – , I have loved watching Love Bug play with them and love them. These guys sleep with her, snuggle with her, get packed in various bags, sacks and suitcases by her, play along with her imaginary story lines and when she is gone, sit attentively and patiently for her to return. They might not be ‘real’ but to her, to us, they are real as real can be. Bug will correct you if you call a ‘her’ dog ‘him’. :)
Someday, tears will be shed when these doggies are no longer her play things. I hope that day is far from now.
