Week 19: Window Light

In my opinion, natural light is the top component for taking a quality picture. Upon realizing this, I changed my entire approach on taking pictures, especially for blogging purposes. Now my process is dictated by the sun and its light.

Of course, natural light is not always possible when photographing real life. Sometimes photo-worthy things happen indoors, in windowless rooms or after the sun has gone down (or before the sun has come up). Thank goodness for flashes and lenses with large apertures.

I caught Sweet J gazing out the window of my aunt’s front door when we visited a week and a half ago. I tried to be discreet as not to disturb him. Peaceful and quiet activities are far and few between for him. :)

Take care.
