One final post to finish up the Winter Wonder series.
Snow is a part of winter here. I don’t mind it so much in December and January but like it less so outside of those months. One of my favorite things is to watch snow fall in the street lamps at night. So peaceful and beautiful.
I actually made this garland in December. (Eek!) I wanted to share it for a holiday post but it didn’t happen. But like I said, snow is still a nice word in January so it fits.
The garland is constructed just like the Halloween one from October. I used my Cricut machine to cut out lots of paper snowflakes in various shades of white which I documented with Instagram.
Then I sent them through the sewing machine, some by their lonesome, some in stacks. I’ve hung it various places and like how peaceful it is. If I were to do it again, I would make smaller flakes. But the big ones are nice too.
I folded the stacked flakes like the one below to make a 3-d flake.
This snow won’t turn brown and grimy. :)
Happy Friday!
Take care.
