As I continue my trek through the rainbow of naturally dying eggs, first blue, then green, now it’s time for yellow. From butter to lemon to golden rod to something akin to a banana peel, these yellows are warm, lovely and yes, mellow.

While not one of the most flamboyant of the natural dyes, their subtle sunshiny nature encourages happiness and smiling. You smiled when you saw them, right? :) I won’t make you admit it but we both know it’s true. Yellow eggs are just sweet.
