This is such an adult thing to say but I am ecstatic about the new labels I ordered and the corresponding letters, cards and packages I get to use them on. (My goodies –– round address labels, rectangle address labels, and wrap-around labels.) I’m hoping I’m not the only one and others can relate. It’s such an adulthood perk if you ask me. It’s still a delight to see my name (and MJ’s) in print, all formal-like. After our transient year, and all the steps it takes to get mail and packages rerouted to the right place, I am whole-heartedly excited to be near the end of the redirection and have just the one address to remember because, at one point this year, there were three to know. I totally cheated by having them typed out in a note on my phone. I knew it was an impermanent situation and didn’t care to remember. Haha!
Truthfully, I love return address labels. I like the insight they inadvertently provide about the sender or the mood of the mail. Like the cat lover who uses cat labels or festive holiday ones. I once used a heart painting I did on address labels for MJ and I and I loved them, even when they were stuck to bills. I hope the mail room people at the locations where we sent our bill receipts enjoyed them.
When Tiny Prints asked if I was open to personalizing a few products of theirs, I was paging through their address labels right away. With the holidays right around the corner, I was thinking about the holiday mail we will send and I pictured myself adhering the labels. I loved the festive MERRY labels the best and ended up ordering all the variations. Everything I send is going to be festive for a long while. Don’t you love this wrapping paper too? All personalized and ready for presents.
Now that I have the labels, I am in the process of scheduling our family photos which require family photo clothing which require shopping and coordinating which ultimately needs a plan. Who knew something simple like address labels could snowball into so much? Oh well. It’s going to be fun. And then I get to head back to Tiny Prints to order holiday cards. The fun just never stops. Wahoo!

I thought I was the only one who goes crazy for labels!!!
