This is a new recipe we tried over our Christmas holiday. A mom from our Early Childhood and Family Education class shared it with the group and said it was good for little helpers. And not only that, but they are delicious. A peanut butter cookie dough wrapped around a mini-Snickers, drizzled in chocolate. Who wouldn’t love that?
Excuse the weird smile. We seem to be going through a phase.
Snicker Cookies
1 stick of butter, softened
½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 egg
½ tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
1¾ cups flour
1-13oz package of Snickers Brand Miniatures
*Optional: 11oz milk or dark chocolate chips, melted
Combine the butter, peanut butter and sugars, both brown and white, in the mixer and beat until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla. Blend until thoroughly combined.
Then add in salt, baking soda and flour.
Unwrap all Snickers Miniatures.
Divide dough into 1 tablespoon pieces.
Flatten.
Place one Snickers in the middle of the flattened dough.
Wrap dough around it, forming a ball.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 325° for 10-12 minutes.
Let cookies cool on a baking rack or wax paper.
Drizzle with melted milk or dark chocolate for added decoration and because it’s good.
Enjoy!
Have a great weekend. Stay warm.

Super cute idea and they look yummy! Thanks for sharing this recipe – I plan to try it myself soon! P.S. Love Bug’s hair is getting gorgeously long! :)
It never mentioned when to add brown sugar.
I did fix the recipe to be more specific but the brown sugar is added at the same time as the white sugar. Enjoy!!
